Theresa E. (Buschenfeldt) Pierce, 93, of Brockton, formerly of Stoughton, died December 11, 2013. She had worked at Coats & Field and Polaroid before her retirement and enjoyed gardening. A life member of North Baptist Church, she was a member of its choir, a Sunday school teacher and involved in the summer programs there. Theresa was the daughter of the late Karl and Gertrude Buschenfeldt; wife of the late Malcolm L. Pierce; beloved mother of Pamela Sommer of Brockton and the late Daniel and Karl Pierce; grandmother of Jill Fore of Spring,TX, Scott Sommer of Oklahoma City, OK, Dawn Jacobs of Jamestown, TN, Melissa Pierce of RI and Melanie Pierce of Raynham; great-grandmother of 7; sister of Nancy Saunders and the late Herman, Anton and Karl Buschenfeldt, Gertrude Beaucaire and Marge Downs; sister-in-law of David Pierce, Priscilla George and the late Emerson Pierce and an aunt of many. All are welcome to gather Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. for a 12 noon service at North Baptist Church, 899 N. Main St., Brockton. Burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Stoughton.
