Susan M. Roode, 45, of Brockton, passed away on Jan. 29, 2017 due to complications from a major asthma attack. She was employed in the medical field, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking, shopping, the beach, and her baby Rocky (her pug). Susan (Susie) was the daughter of Barbara Bartorelli of Brockton (and the late Gary) and Richard Roode of Puerto Rico; mother of Brittiney Cummings (and Brandon) of Florida; grandmother of Greysen Arlo Cummings; sister of Barbara Steiner of Florida, brothers Richard Roode of Bridgewater and Gary Bartorelli, B.P.D. of Brockton and leaves a lot of extended family and friends. Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Wednesday 6-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Those who wish to give, please donate to a charity in Susie's name.
