Leo, my friend from Camp Miramar and dreadful days "working" for DCMA,
So sad to see a young person die. As a volunteer at Dana Farber, I found my greatest joy as an individual. I was able many happy strong women of all ages who I may have met one day and they were an angel the second day.
I treated each patient as my son or daughter. Just as you used dance to make yourself and your wife happy, I used comedy to make sure my patients were relaxed by the five or fifteen minutes it took to safely get them to their appointment. You would have been proud because you were a large part of education from our days with Father Poetz (who passed up the Yankees, and still inspired thousands and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to hear of Katie's passing. I can't believe that my childhood best friend from Canton Massachusetts is gone. I will never forget the good times Katie and I and our families had. I will never forget her kindness and friendship she bestowed upon me and my family. I know that Katie and I had our share of differences throughout the years as we were growing up, and I was so glad to had reunite with her again finally years later on fb again. From Girl Scouts to roller skating to birthday parties, to CCD classes and church Choir Practice and the school plays; Katie you were a good friend to me. In all of those things we did as young women/girls And I am so sorry that I was so jealous of you that I let it ruin our friendship for good over the years. I hope that you had forgiven me all those years from the past.
