Haybert William Savage, 77, of Brockton, died August 15, 2016. Born in Belle Haven, Virginia, he was the son of the late William and Thelma Savage. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Haybert is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years Annette Pappas-Savage; loving father of Charlotte Savage of Brockton (and her late mother Thelma Savage, Haybert’s former wife), Karleena Savage of Boston (and her mother Rose), Marla “Niecey” Morris and her husband Edward, Tamika Nalley, Aisha “Nikki” Nalley, Theodore Higgins and his wife Rosette, all of Philadelphia, and the late Michael Higgins (and their mother Teresa); grandfather of 16; and a great-grandfather of 11. All are welcome to calling hours Monday 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 12 p.m. prayer service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton with a repast to follow. Cremation and private committal.
