Barbara L. (Ramsdell) Broderick, 91, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2016. Native of Maine, she resided in Pembroke as well as Brockton and was a retired stitcher in garment manufacturing. She enjoyed bowling, traveling with her late dear friend Rose Adams, and camping with family. Barbara was devoted to taking care of everyone’s children like a second mom. She was the wife of the late John P. Broderick; beloved sister of Janet M. Sheehan of Wareham, James N. Ramsdell of Halifax, and the late Johann Oberlander, Geraldine Reitz, Donald Carter and Marion Hodgdon; and a loving aunt of several generations of nieces and nephews including Gordon R. Hodgdon, with whom she resided. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral service Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel and burial at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
