Marty, Lisa, Andy, and Stan's loved ones,
My heart goes out to you for Stan's recent passing, and how the challenges he faced before the end must have worn on each of you. I hope his being in a better place with his beloved Stefanie and that so many mourned his loss combine to provide you some measure of solace. Time spent with loved ones will ease then overcome your pain and bring you to that place where only fond memories remain. I hope that journey is as short as possible for each of you.
With sincerest condolences,
Don Murphy

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Stan was very special to me and I will miss him.
Stan and I met about 20 years ago. The first time I walked into his office and saw The Chain pickerel mounted on the wall with the blue tie hanging off of it and the Mongoose and the Cobra in the far corner of the office I felt an instant and deeply rooted connection. Stan and I had fished the same ponds in Halifax and Hanson that I had fished as a kid. We had many long discussions about our fishing adventures and mushroom forays.
In business I helped Stan and he in turn helped me.
We often talked about crazy health concoctions. The teas and spices he came up with were amazing. I still have some of his spices and use them very carefully and sparingly.
Stan was my friend, my mentor and a significant influential figure in my life. I will always remember him and the great joy and fullness he brought to my life.
Stan, may you rest in peace

Dear Lisa,Marty, and Andy,
Don and I send our sympathy to you as you grieve the loss of your dear father. He and Dr. Hollander had many conversations during his visits. It was always a pleasure to see he and your mother. They took wonderful care of you all. May you find solace in the memories you have. He was such a nice man and will live on through you and your children.

The loss of Stan is the end of an era of compassionate highly skilled tradesman with a deep understanding of the needs of his employees, co-workers, and family. Always an open door to listen to concerns and suggestions of his employees, he continued to set the example of a man with many innovative ideas and a drive that kept F.H. Peterson in the forefront of technology many years after most of his peers had entered retirement. It is difficult to match his generosity to those in need, but at the same time he was a vigilant and tough businessman that commanded high respect from those that had the pleasure of his acquaintance. As an employee of Stan's you never new if you were doing well unless you were "still here" in his words; this was his way of providing you a very high compliment. His giving nature provided many workers and their families a very lucrative living and he always found a way to fair about every decision that impacted all of those that worked for F.H. Peterson. There will be a hole that cannot be filled without him in the days to come, but he constructed a foundation of dedicated employees and he leaves behind a caring family that has the future of his company in mind. Our most sincere condolences go out to Lisa, Marty and Andy and all of their family members in the loss of this wonderful man.
