Joe was a very dear friend to me at St. Ann's Church. We were lecturing partners together, proclaiming the readings at Sunday mass. He offered me lots of emotional and prayerful support during my years at school and in other areas of my life. My family and I will miss him greatly! Our prayers are with his family and friends.

Dear Margaret and Family I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Joe was an inspiration to all who knew him on how to live our Faith. He also gave us a few good laughs with his jokes and riddles. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Utka and Williams families. Joe was the holiest and most Christlike person we were ever privileged to meet. We are so sorry to lose him at St. Ann's and in West Bridgewater --and will sorely miss his elegant calligraphy-inscribed prayer requests and clever jokes he always shared after Mass, at the transfer station, or wherever we encountered him. We were blessed to know him and are sure he is in the arms of Christ already <3
