David S. Thayer, 77, formerly of Brockton, passed away on June 5, 2017. Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Colby and Maxine (McClintock) Thayer. He had served in the U.S. Navy. David was the husband of the late Joan H. (Cecchini) Thayer; and the father of David S. Thayer of Taunton. David also leaves many additional family and friends. (Private cremation.) All are welcome to join in procession on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. to his 10:45 a.m. committal at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Reception to follow.
