FUNERAL POSTPONEMENT DUE TO WEATHER, SEE BELOW.

Ann F. (Kelley) Garland, 78, of Brockton for over 50 years, passed away February 5, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Mary and Francis Kelley. Native of Brighton, she also lived in Randolph and Holbrook. Ann was a real estate agent and broker for many years and retired as a mortgage processor. She was an avid golfer, a member of Red Hat Society, a decorated Boy Scout leader, active in politics, and she enjoyed dancing, fishing, surfing, rollerskating, and parasailing. Ann was a caring and vibrant spirit. She was the beloved mother of Cheryl A. Pike of ME, Debra M. Garland (and Michael Bailey), Mark E. Garland (and Angela McHugh), Nancy E. Garland, and Caroline F. MacMillan (and Chris), all of Brockton, Carl W. Garland (and Diane Zapatka) of CT and the late Stephen E. Garland; loving grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 13; companion of Tom Felice; sister of Florence E. Breckner of FL, Kevin W. Kelley of FL, William F. Kelley (and Kathy) of Bellingham, Mary Jane “Mamie” Malinowski (and James) of Brockton, Thomas S. Kelley (and Helen) of Brockton, and John Kelley (and Susan) of Avon; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 3-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, both in Avon. In honoring Ann’s generous spirit, in lieu of flowers, her family prefers memorial gifts to your favorite charity.
