Timothy M. Smith, 44, of Brockton, passed away from complications of diabetes on Sept. 9, 2016. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, had played youth hockey and baseball, was a hockey and football fan and loved heavy metal music. Tim was the beloved son of Lewis and Rosanne (Jones) Smith of Brockton; loving brother of Maureen A. Smith and her husband Dee Blake of Dorchester; he also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Following cremation a memorial Mass will be held at St. Edith Stein Parish, day and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St. Brockton MA 02301.
