John P. Haldoupis, 61, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2017. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Peter and Doris Haldoupis. A music enthusiast, he was the drummer and vocalist for Crossfire and was previously awarded New England Country Music Association Drummer of the Year. John had worked for State Street Bank for over 35 years. An avid New England Patriots fan, he enjoyed candlepin bowling, poker, and trips to Twin River. John was the husband of the late Pamela J. (Corson) Haldoupis for 38 years until her passing in December; loving father of Dawn Wilbur of Brockton, Elaine Marie Whalen (and Paul) of Brockton, Michelle Hayes (and Frank) of Bridgewater, William Pedro of Brockton, and Tina DeBerardinis of Florida; devoted grandfather of Autumn Wilbur, Ashley and Jake Whalen, Marissa and Frankie Hayes, Kyle Graham, Irene, William and John Pedro; great-grandfather of Nyisah Miranda; brother of George Haldoupis of Marshfield, Mary Haldoupis of FL, Nicholas Haldoupis of Roslindale, Marty Bettencourt of FL and Nick Papastamos of Roslindale; and an uncle of many. John also leaves many extended family. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
