Yverose (Felix) Jean-Pierre, 78, of Brockton, passed away on April 5, 2021. Born in Petit-Goâve, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Gaston and Jeanne (Cassamajor) Felix. Yverose was the first member of her family to immigrate to the United States. She was a teacher in Haiti for many years and when she settled in the U.S., worked in banking until retirement. An adventurous world traveler, she enjoyed meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Yverose was a communicant of Christ the King Parish and devoted to her Catholic faith. Forever encouraging and loving to her family, she enjoyed sharing stories with them. She loved fashion and was always lively and well-dressed. She will be greatly missed.
Yverose was the wife of the late Arnauld Jean-Pierre; mother of the late Annie (Jean-Pierre) Allen; loving grandmother of Christopher Allen of Atlanta, Georgia; beloved sister of Feronie Brutus of Haiti, Yolande Felix of Brockton, Marie Paule Bernard of Brockton, Gaston Felix of Boston, Marie Guerda Casamé of Brockton, Roseline Felix of Brockton, Alix Felix of Brockton, and the late Benita Felix; and a cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Friday, April 16th from 8-10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
