William F. Quinn Jr.

William F. Quinn Jr., 81, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away Feb. 8, 2025 after a time of failing health. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Marion L. (Webber) Quinn and William F. Quinn Sr. and graduated from Brockton High School in 1961. Bill was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and became a registered pharmacist. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1967 to 1969. For over 30 years Bill was a pharmacist for Dunnington Drug in Brockton then worked for Pharmerica until retirement. Bill was an avid golfer, played golf seasonally in Myrtle Beach for 20 years, and shot a hole-in-one at Pine Oaks in Easton.

He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Greene) Quinn since 1969, loving father of Susan Favre and her husband Philip of Valley Glen, CA and Patrick P. Quinn of Brockton, dear Grampy of Amelie Favre, brother of Betty O'Sullivan and her husband Joe of Hanson, James Quinn and his wife Janis of Haverhill, Paul Quinn of Hanover, Elaine Iannarone and her husband John of Monroe, CT, Kathy Kelley and her husband Bernie of Bridgewater and the late Kevin Quinn and Robert Quinn, brother-in-law of Harland Greene of Lutz, FL and Jack Greene and his wife Helen of Ipswich, an uncle of many nieces and nephews, and a friend and associate of many. 

All are welcome to calling hours Sunday Feb. 16th from 1 to 4 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral Monday Feb. 17th at 9:30 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home and funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Church.
