William R. Taylor, 82, of Brockton, died November 30, 2023. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William and Louise (Fiske) Taylor. He served in the U.S. Army. William was a maintenance electrician at General Dynamics in Quincy for many years and later worked as a courier for Care Partners until his retirement.
He was a lifetime member of the Conte memorial club in Brockton and a longtime member of the Polish White Eagles in Brockton. William enjoyed camping in his spare time and was a long time member of NAFCA (North American Family Campers Association) Local South Shore Chapter #25, Quahog Chapter #48 of the Camping Club of R.I., and Squaw - No - Cook #30.
William was the husband of the late Marilyn R. (Moore) Taylor; loving father of Christopher Taylor and his wife Lori of Weaverville, North Carolina and Kevin Taylor and his wife Kathleen of West Bridgewater; grandfather of Rebecca, Katelyn, Joshua, and Stephanie; great-grandfather of Charlotte, Daisy, Isaac, Elyza, Jacob, Colton, Hazel, Madelyn, Brady, Maci, and Cooper; brother of Anne Thompson of Plympton, and the late Glen Taylor; and an uncle of many.
Following cremation, all are welcome to memorial calling hours Sunday, December 10th from 1-3 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
