William P. "Billy" Brooks

William P. “Billy” Brooks, 44, of Westford, native of Brockton, passed away on August 15, 2023. He was a 1996 graduate of Brockton High School. Hardworking, Billy began his career in the trucking industry at R+L Carriers and was more recently working as a terminal manager for SAIA LTL Freight. An automobile enthusiast, he was mechanically inclined and could fix anything car related. Billy also enjoyed collecting firearms and had a collection of antique and rare pieces.

He was a fun-loving guy and made friends easily. His quick wit and good sense of humor brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. The loss of Billy is immeasurable, but his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Billy was the beloved son of William H. and Karen L. (Voudren) Brooks of Brockton, loving partner in life of Krista M. Costa, devoted father of Makenzy Brooks and stepson Brandon Wynott, brother of April Melo and her husband Ruben of New Hampshire, uncle of Benjamin and Chloe Melo. He was a nephew, cousin, and loyal friend to many.
