William J. Allison, 70, of Brockton, passed away on September 29, 2024. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Virginia (Duffy) Allison. William worked as a truck driver for many years and retired to care for his wife when she took ill. His family and home were always a priority to him. He was a member of Taunton Rifle & Pistol Club in Raynham and enjoyed camping, fishing, motorcycling, and vacationing with his family.
William was the husband of the late Linda L. (Smith) Allison; loving father of Stefan Allison and his wife Ann of Methuen, Jayson Allison of Abington, and Christopher Allison of Brockton; devoted grandfather of Devon, Caleb, Lily, Joesef, and Rowan; brother of Robert Allison and his wife Nancy of Connecticut; and an uncle and great-uncle of many.
Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Sunday, October 6th from 1-4 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
