Walter E. Miller

Walter E. Miller, 77, of Brockton, passed away on February 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dighton, he was the son of the late Walter and Dorothy (Marvel) Miller, and husband of the late Helen (Lyons) Miller and Corinne (Medeiros) Miller.

A welder by trade, he also was a cemetery groundskeeper for many years until retirement. He enjoyed building toy models, riding motorcycles, and watching sports, including NASCAR. Most important to Walter was time spent with his family and game nights with his grandchildren.

Walter was the beloved father of Walter J. “Wally” Miller and his wife Edie of Brockton, and James Miller and his wife Ann of Rhode Island; cherished grandfather of Corey Miller, Zack Miller, Amanda Miller, Samantha Foster, Page Miller, Alyssa Miller, James Miller, Gina Miller, and Chloe Miller; great-grandfather of Kayleigh, Stephanie, Masie, Liam, and Mya; stepfather of Jason Reed and Norman Reed, both of Fall River; brother of James Miller of Assonet, and the late Carol Zucco; godfather of Elizabeth Rosa; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Thursday, February 11th from 4-6 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. prayer service (limited capacity) in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal. Facemasks and social distancing required.
