Victor Alfonso Barahona, 31, of Chelsea, formerly of North Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2025. He was born in Cambridge and was a graduate of Bunker Hill Community College. Victor was an avid gamer and was a fan of the anime Naruto. He was greatly loved by his family and will forever be missed.
Victor was the beloved son of Maria Rina Barahona of North Carolina and the late Antonio Ruiz; loving father of Victor A. Barahona and Leonardo Barahona of Everett; cherished brother of Luis Antonio Ruiz of Brockton, Carmen Ruiz and her husband Luis Reyes of Brockton, and Lisette Barahona of North Carolina; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to calling hours Friday, June 13th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a 12 noon prayer service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family may be made to support Victor’s young son’s future.
