Veronica Diane (Boddie) Prosper

Veronica Diane (Boddie) Prosper, 75, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2026. Born in Hogansville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Ree (Cousin) Boddie. Diane was a dedicated nurse’s aide at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for many years until her retirement. She loved her family deeply and was a woman of great faith.

Diane was the wife of the late Jacques Prosper; beloved mother of Jacques “Andre” Prosper and Yolanda M. Prosper, both of Brockton, and the late Laraye Prosper; cherished grandmother of Azariah, Elijah, and Samaria; sister of the late Betty Faith Young and Robert Lee Boddie; and a loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to visitation on Friday, September 18th from 10-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
