Veronica A. "Ronnie" (Drudi) Slicius

Veronica A. Slicius, 76, of Brockton, passed away Nov. 21, 2022. Born in Tewskbury, MA. Native of South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Isabelle and Bruno Drudi. “Ronnie” cleaned private homes for many years. She loved animals, her beloved Sebastian, enjoyed watching football and NASCAR, and volunteered at local clubs. Her seasonal decorating and love of the seasonal fashion in sweaters and her earrings will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Ronnie was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Slicius for 56 years; loving mother of Michelle Monreal (& David) of Middleboro and Joseph Slicius (& Donna Vieira) of Taunton; adored grandmother of Zachary (& Andrea), Christian (& Brittany), and David Monreal; and her in-laws Elizabeth Rakes (& John), Evelyn Slicius, and Ronald Blanchett (& Sue). All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday Nov. 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. and her funeral service on Thursday Dec. 1st at 10:30 a.m., all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, committal at Mass. National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. in Bourne, and to her gathering of family and friends from 2 to 6 p.m. at VFW Post 1046, 283 North Quincy St. Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors, or your favorite charity.
