Venant Bien-Aimé

Venant Bien-Aimé, 89, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2024. Born in Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite, Haiti, he was the son of the late Euzeve and Rosena (Atelus) Bien-Aimé and immigrated to the United States in 2008, making his home in Brockton. While in Haiti, he worked in the farming and logging industries.

Venant was a faithful Catholic and longtime communicant of Christ the King Parish, enjoying fellowship in the Haitian Catholic community. He cared for others and was kind to all. Venant was a quiet and peaceful man and enjoyed expressing himself through music, singing and playing the harmonica often.

Venant was the devoted husband of the late Marie Rose (Merthus) Bien-Aimé; loving father of Marc Sauveur Bien-Aimé of Brockton, Lisène Bien-Aimé Belceus of Brockton, Jean Eugène Bien-Aimé of Brockton, Marie Venante Bien-Aimé of Haiti, Anna Bien-Aimé of Brockton, Yolande Bien-Aimé of Brockton, Emmanuel Bien-Aimé of Haiti, Julide Bien-Aimé of Brockton, Gislaine Bien-Aimé of Haiti, Saveny “Jude” Bien-Aimé of New York, Gislande Bien-Aimé of Brockton, and the late Yanick and Yonel Bien-Aimé; dear grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brother of the late Roselia Bien-Aimé, Elise Bien-Aimé, Christianne Bien-Aimé, Levaillant Bien-Aimé, Silence Bien-Aimé, Donatien Bien-Aimé, and Mon Fils Bien-Aimé; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Thursday, December 26th from 5-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, his funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Friday, December 27th at 9:30 a.m., his funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton.
