Thomas Robert "Bob" Saad

Thomas Robert (Bob) Saad passed away on August 10th, 2026 at the AdviniaCare Nursing Home in Newburyport, MA. Born in Brockton, MA on June 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Thomas Saad and the late Olivia Saad. Bob attended Brockton High School, where he played catcher on his baseball team. He also played on the football team, and he was always proud of their undefeated championship team during his senior year. He was also the Classroom Treasurer.

Bob continued his education after high school at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Novia Scotia where he continued playing baseball and football. He was also an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. 

Bob’s professional career was as a driving instructor and the owner of Saad’s Auto School in Brockton Mass.

Bob will fondly be remembered by his wife, Wanda Joyce, and their two daughters, Catherine Saad Kelloway of North Andover MA, and Kristin Saad of Torrance, California and his two grandchildren Gavin and Benjamin Kelloway. He will also be remembered by his son Thomas Saad and his grandchildren Leila Saad, of Pennsylvania, the late Melissa Saad, and Brianna Saad of New York City, and his daughter the late Robin Thayer. He also leaves behind many family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main Street in Brockton, MA on Sunday, August 16th from 1-4 p.m. the funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, August 17th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main Street in Brockton, MA and burial at the Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
