Thomas A. Curtin, 55, of Bridgewater, formerly of Mashpee, passed away on March 19, 2024. Born and raised in Brockton, he was a 1986 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. Tom was employed by the United States Postal Service from 1987 until his retirement in 2022. He and his former wife were foster parents to eight children throughout the years. Tom enjoyed music, antique cars, and his daughters’ various activities.
Tom was the loving father of Emily Curtin and Alexandra Curtin of Mashpee and leaves their mother Nancy (Crowley) Curtin; beloved son of Jean F. (Mackin) Curtin of Brockton and the late William T. Curtin; dear brother of William Curtin Jr. of Wareham, Marianne Curtin of Brockton, Alice Doherty and her husband William of East Sandwich, Peter L. Curtin of Brockton, Paul K. Curtin and his wife Gina of Brockton, Kevin Curtin of Brockton, who was his best friend, and the late Deborah Curtin; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Fri., March 22nd from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a 12 noon funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Old Colony Hospice.
