Obituary
Therese Rita (Voisine) Joyce, 76, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023. Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Blanche (Guillemette) Voisine. Therese worked as a registered nurse for many years until her retirement. She deeply loved her cats.
Therese was the wife of the late Thomas Henry Joyce; sister-in-law of Mary Anne McCarthy, Paul Joyce, John “Jack” Joyce, and Richard Joyce; she also leaves her adopted family Louise Saintvil and her husband Henrico, Francoise Joseph, Jack Targete, Marie Michelle Targete, “Tatie” Marie Claude Bissainthe; and her grandchildren Alexa and Halle, to mourn her passing.
All are welcome to her celebration of life on Sunday, May 21st at 3 p.m. at the home of Louise, 25 Chilton Rd., Brockton and her procession gathering on Tuesday, May 23rd at 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton for a graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100R Cedar Grove Ave., Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
