Teresa R. (Holcomb) Lawton

Teresa R. Lawton, 61, of Brockton, passed away April 10, 2025 after a lengthy illness with heart disease. Born in Glens Falls, New York, she was a daughter of James D. Holcomb of South Glens Falls, New York and the late Donna M. (Bradley) Holcomb. Teresa resided in Brockton since 1994 and was employed at Walmart in Abington since 2000. She was devoted to her family and home and enjoyed reading. Teresa was the beloved wife of Gene Lawton for almost 31 years, loving mother of Rebekka Lynne Lawton of Brockton and Cody F. Lawton and his wife Leontia of Alton, New Hampshire, grandmother of Camden Charles Lawton, sister of Tabitha Sue Bartwitz of Georgia, James D. Holcomb of New York and the late Kelli Holcomb and Cherie Smith, aunt of 21 nieces and nephews, great-aunt of 12, great-great aunt of 6.

All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday April 16 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and her Celebration of Life Service at 11:45 a.m. all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
