Tammy L. (Abel) Miller, 48, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Stoughton, the daughter of the late Wayne F. Abel and Patricia Ann (Zwicker) Doyon, Tammy leaves her stepfather Alfred J. Doyon of Rhode Island.
Tammy was hardworking, dedicating herself to her career at West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton, where she worked tirelessly for the past 16.5 years until her recent illness. She found peace in the small things, whether it was keeping a tidy home scented with luxurious candles, relaxing with a cold Pepsi watching her shows, or spending quality time with her grandchildren, she was content with her life.
Tammy had a great love for her cats and treated them as members of the family. They were spoiled and well cared for. She saw the beauty of wintertime and falling snow and loved Christmas celebrations shared with her family. Tammy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed socializing, shopping, and going to numerous Demolition Derbies, where she cheered on participating relatives.
Tammy was the devoted mother of Corey A. Miller and his wife Shannon of Taunton, Amanda L. Miller and her fiancé Anthony of Raynham, Zachary Jones and his wife Courtney of New Hampshire, and Caitlin Foster and her fiancé Devante of Taunton; cherished grandmother of Kayleigh, Stephanie, Liam, Kazleigh, Bennett, Zaidenn, and Steel; longtime companion of Ricky Foster; sister of Dawn Carr; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews including Samantha Foster and Goddaughter Alyssa Miller. Tammy also leaves many additional family and friends who will miss her dearly.
All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday, February 26th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private cremation and committal.
