Suzie “Zou” (Lecorps) Elas, 85, of Brockton, passed away on May 24, 2020. Born in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Fernand Lecorps and Laurraine Laveau. Suzie worked at McLean Hospital in Belmont for 25 years until retiring. Suzie was the wife of the late Antoine Elas; beloved mother of Evelyne Lecorps of Brockton, Marline Moise of Brockton, Suzeline Bontemps of Randolph, Paule Elas of Brockton, Jacqueline Elas-Nicolas of Stoughton, Antoine Junior Elas of Brockton, and the late Guibert Elas; stepmother of Gilbert Elas, Jean Robert Elas, and Fredeline Elas; loving grandmother of Fahissa Miguel, Valerie Moise, Lisa Bontemps, Stevens Bontemps, Vandy Briana Bontemps, Trishan Vilgrain, Kliff Moise, Jayden Nicolas, Alexander Dubuisson, Robin Elas, Kenny Elas, Rachelle Camille, Guichard Elas, and Patrick Lecorps; great-grandmother of Avery Vilgrain; sister of Francois Lecorps, Rose Marie Lecorps, Yolande Lecorps, Renee Lecorps, and the late Julie Lecorps Nassar and Pierre Lecorps; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
