Susan M. (Theodos)(Dauwer) Sundseth, 63, of Brockton, passed away July 9, 2021 after complications of lengthy battles with cancer. Born in Boston to Grace (Fisher) Theodos of Brockton and the late Thomas A. Theodos, she was raised in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School in 1975. For well over 20 years she was the office manager at STD Precision Gear in West Bridgewater where family and work came together. Petite with a plus-size heart, Susan had a spontaneous nature, was the life of the party and the first one up on the dance floor. She loved watching sports, especially the Boston Bruins, going to the beach and taking road trips. Susan loved music, especially from the 1970’s; she took a recent liking for Tanglewood after seeing a concert there. She was a true “people person” and made friends easily all over. She treasured the simple things in life like Saturday nights sitting by the pool, enjoying a grilled ribeye steak, baked potato and a cold Miller Lite. Susan will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her fighting spirit and her love of life.
Sue was the beloved wife of David R. Sundseth with whom she shared 30 years of togetherness, loving mother of Paul Dauwer and Ashlynn Dauwer, dear grandmother of Taylor, Ava and Skylar; sister of Patricia White, all of Brockton; a cousin of many; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Special thanks are made to BIDMC 7 Feldberg staff for treating Susan like family. All are welcome to memorial calling hours Thursday, July 15th from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to BIDMC.org, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Leukemia Society.
