Susan M. (Crawford) Sena

Susan M. (Crawford) Sena, 76, of Brockton, passed away on August 1, 2022. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, she was a daughter of the late Andrew D. and Bertha (Koop) Crawford. Susan attended public schools there and later earned a certificate from Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing.

After relocating to the Boston area, Susan worked for Massachusetts General Hospital for a few years and worked part-time at the family business, Irving’s Home Center in Brockton, with her husband. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Spiritual life was important to Susan, and she found comfort in her faith.

Susan was the beloved wife of Richard Sena for 50 years; loving mother of David Sena and his wife Michelle of Bridgewater; dear grandmother of Domenic and Sophia Sena; sister of James Crawford and his late wife Pamela; sister-in-law of Donald Sena, Dianne (Sena) McGauley and her husband William; and an aunt of Collene (Crawford) Fletcher and her husband Sean, James Crawford, Michael Crawford, Pamela Crawford, Robert McKean, and Ryan McGauley and his wife Megan.

All are welcome to calling hours Thursday Aug. 4th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, her funeral Friday Aug. 5th at 9:15 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home to her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St. Bridgewater and burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Catholic Charities.
