Steven Hamilton Stanley

Steven Hamilton Stanley, 51, a lifelong resident of Boston, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2023. He was the son of the late George Stanley Jr. and Ella Mae (Frazier) Stanley; and grandson of the late Christina and Jack Frazier and the late George Sr. and Mamie Stanley.

Stevie was a skilled tradesman, working in home construction for many years. Hardworking, he was never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty. He was a gifted artist and enjoyed drawing. His artistry allowed for self-expression through his writing and poetry. His sudden passing has left his family heartbroken, but they have solace knowing he is with God and is now at peace.

Steven was the brother of Mona O. Young (Larry D. Young), Brenda Dennis, Chrystal Bonner, and the late Karyn Bonner; father of Devon Stanley and Chantel DaCosta; uncle of seven nieces Chaijuana Snow, J'Neen Seney (Wedley), J’nai Sibley, Renecia Benn (Arthur), Erica Bailey, Chakara Bonner, Taylor Bonner, and four nephews Kenneth Dennis, Mekhi Malcom, Loyalty Seney, and Arthur (AJ) Benn. Stevie also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing.

All are welcome to his viewing Saturday, April 8th from 9-10 a.m., followed by his Homegoing service from 10-11:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury St., Boston.
