Stephen A. MacLean, 35, of Raynham, formerly of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2024. Born and raised in Brockton, Stephen was a 2006 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Johnson & Wales University. Stephen worked in banking at Rockland Trust Co., then worked in real estate on Newbury St. in Boston. He was most recently employed by Belmont Irrigation Co.
An avid New England Patriots fan, Stephen enjoyed playing football and basketball in high school. He was focused on fitness and health and loved going to the gym. He was a member of Crunch Fitness in Brockton.
Stephen was the beloved son of Peter S. and Joanne (Doyle) MacLean. In addition to his parents, Stephen leaves many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins to mourn his passing.
Following cremation, family and friends are welcome to his memorial calling hours on Tuesday, May 7th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. prayer service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital Cancer Walk (https://signature-healthcare.org/support), Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (https://donorbox.org/donate-to-the-apcsm), or your favorite charity.
