Stephen M. Costello

Stephen M. Costello, 65, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died May 23, 2022. Stephen served in the U.S. Navy from 1976-1980, serving on the USS Lang in the Philippines, Australia, and San Diego, CA. A member of Laborers Local 133, Stephen worked tirelessly and retired in 2018. He was devoted to his grandchildren and relished in their special relationship. Easygoing and dependable, he would help anyone in need. He was a fan of local sports teams and was a long-time member of Club National.

Stephen was the son of the late Michael T. and Beryl (Brennon) Costello; father of Kristi L. Andrews (and Robert) of East Bridgewater and Ryan M. Costello (and Amy) of Hyde Park; grandfather of Kyleigh, Kennedy, Olivia, Jackson, Reese, and Harper; brother of Lynda Carlozzi (and Richard) of Brockton, Kenneth Costello (and Lisa) of Raynham, Michael Costello Jr. (and Cindy) of Norton, and Theresa Murphy (and Paul) of Weymouth; former spouse of Rose M. Costello; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Thursday, June 2nd from 9-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton and burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
