Shawn McCormick

Shawn McCormick, 48, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2020 after a sudden illness. Born in Stoughton, Shawn was the beloved son of Ruth P. (McCormick) Mann of Brockton; brother of Eric Mann and his wife Sara of Fall River; uncle of Samantha, Connor, Alina, David, and Jaxson; and a nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Shawn attended The Jones School in Stoughton and had a special bond with his teachers whom he adored, Mr. Little, Miss Walsh, and Mr. Gay. He was a graduate of Hingham High School and was an All-Star athlete, receiving trophies in basketball and football. He loved the outdoors and animals. All are welcome to memorial calling hours on Saturday, August 15th from 12-2 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial.
