Sauveur Lominy, 57, of Mattapan and Brockton, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was a son of the late Mehille Lominy and Maguerite Montinard. Throughout the years, Sauveur worked as a housekeeper in maintenance at area hospitals, most recently at BIDMC in Boston, and enjoyed watching boxing and soccer.
Among many family members, he is survived by his siblings Gina Lominy of Florida, Wilson Lominy of Brockton, Julebert Lominy of Brockton, and Dunelle Lominy of Maryland; daughters Loisha Lominy, Kara Lominy, and Princess Lominy; and several nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to his viewing on Saturday, July 25th from 8 to 10 a.m. followed by his 10 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton. Live streaming of Sauveur’s funeral will be available.
