Sara Gebara

Sara Gebara, 73, of Brockton, passed away on January 11, 2023. Born in Aitaneet, Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Mariam El-Rassi and Bechara Gebara. Sara had worked at Footjoy in Brockton for many years until retiring.

Sara was the beloved sister of Hayat Awon and George Gebara; loving aunt of Vicky Minasian, Fred Awon, and Eddie  Awon, and leaves Godchildren Anto Minasian and Jasmine Minasian. She will be greatly missed.

All are welcome to her calling hours Sun., Jan. 22nd from 1-4 p.m. with an Incense Service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Mon., Jan. 23rd at 10 a.m., the Service of the Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Maronite Church and burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 N. Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
