Sally F. (Lynch) (Pastena) Doyon, 92, of Brockton, passed away on January 9, 2024. Sally was born and raised in Danville, Virginia, to the late Harry O. and Edna L. (Austin) Lynch. She had a love for family, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sally found joy in singing, listening to music, watching her stories, shopping, and taking long drives in the car.
Sally was the beloved mother of Margaret Reed of Brockton, Michael Pastena of Brockton, Catherine Belanger of Brockton, Rose Pastena of Taunton, and the late Bonnie MacIntosh and Chris A. Pastena.
Sally was the cherished grandmother of 18 - Michael James, Scott, Adam, and Daniel MacIntosh, Nicole Causey, Leigh-Ann, Sandra, Jennifer and Crystal Reed, Brian and Robert Pastena, Tia McFarland, Joseph Belanger, Kelly Mao, Krista Pastena, Courtney O’Brien, Christopher Pastena, and Ashlee Perrotta. In addition, Sally leaves behind 29 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Alma Smith, Edna Conzo, Barbara Jacome, Florence Pearson, Rose Ricci, Shirley Grillo, Harry, Kenneth, Charles, John (Bill), and Carlton Lynch and her cat Miffins (Baby).
Sally’s family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, January 14th from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., followed by a 12 p.m. service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. There will be a private cremation and a spring burial will take place at Melrose cemetery.
