Saincilia Borne, 91, of Brockton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 13, 2025. Born in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Claircius and Lisena (Eugene) Borne.
Saincilia was the beloved mother of Roselyn A. Phanor her only child, of Brockton and loving mother-in-law to Aly Phanor of Boston; cherished grandmother of Jeff Phanor (and Benji) of Woonsocket, R.I., Jenny Phanor of Swansea, and Alyssa Phanor of Georgia; great-grandmother of Damien Sylveste, Cassian Sylveste, Giann Sylveste, Kian Sylveste, Jayla Phanor, Jaylen Phanor, Zoey Phanor, Naveah Phanor, and Ben-Amari Phanor.
She is survived by her beloved nieces: Martha, Marie, Madeleine, and Emanuella Dubreus. Raymonde and Jeanine Aurelus. Her beloved nephews: Gesner Etienne of Connecticut. Destilien, Jean-Claude, Ulrick, Jacques. Her beloved great-nieces: Mianta and children, Rolande and her daughter, Monise and children, Angeline. Her beloved great nephews: Ricadeau, Riphin, Softly, Jackson, and Peterson. Her beloved cousins: Jacqueline Tanis, Angelita, and Marie Carmelle Tanis, along with many cherished cousins in Haiti.
All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, November 29th from 8-9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton.
The family warmly invites everyone to join them for a reception immediately following the funeral service at the Brockton Church of God Hall at 80 Pleasant St., Brockton, MA.
