Rosemarie (Pastena) Depril, 59, of Taunton, passed away on October 9, 2024. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Sally F. (Lynch) (Pastena) Doyon and Aime Doyon. She had worked at the Dollar Tree in Norton for 12 years before retiring in 2017 due to illness.
Rosie had a great love for music and dancing. At the age of 3, Rosie began dancing until the age of 19. She was trained in many forms of dance, including tap, jazz, and ballet. As a frequent award winner, “first prize, no surprise, Rosemarie Pastena”, became a running joke. Her love of music carried on until adulthood.
Rosie was always the life of the party. Her outgoing personality and great sense of humor was magnetic. She was a bit mischievous at times and was well known for her “flash dancing”. She also enjoyed dining out with family and playing games on her phone. Most important, however, was her grandchildren. Her life revolved around them, and she fought so hard to live for them. Rosie will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Rosie was the cherished mother of Ashlee J. Perrotta and her fiancé Bradford Tremblay of Taunton; beloved partner of Tony Fulvi of Taunton for 15 years; loving grandmother of Deyton and Amarah; dear sister of Margaret Reed (and the late Michael) of Brockton, Michael Pastena and his wife Mary of Brockton, Catherine Belanger (and the late Victor) of Weymouth, and the late Chris A. Pastena (and the late Cheryl) and the late Bonnie MacIntosh and her husband Barry of Brockton; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Rosie leaves many additional extended family and friends to mourn her passing.
All are welcome to calling hours on Wednesday, October 16th from 4-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to https://gofund.me/5fff7a12 to assist with funeral arrangements.
