Rosemarie Clavin

Rosemarie Clavin, 81, of Whitman, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2024. Born in Hinche, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Marie L. “Mercedes” Clavin and Rosemond Desamours. Rosemarie worked as a certified nursing assistant for 30 years and enjoyed playing bingo, exercising, and going to church. Rosemarie lived in Brooklyn and Queens, New York in her early years before moving to Boston, MA in 1985, then settling in Brockton in 2000.

Rosemarie was the beloved mother of Fritz Gerald Clavin of Brockton, Albert Louis-Jean of Brockton, and Sandra Renaudin and her husband Carlos of Peabody; dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Albert Louis-Jean, Cassandra Renaudin, Joshua Clavin, Jayden Clavin, Carlyssha Renaudin, Ashley Louis-Jean, Allison Louis-Jean, Aaron Louis-Jean, Alex Louis-Jean, and the late Allan Louis-Jean; dear sister of Ginette Desamours Estiverne, Marie Desamours, Ketia D. Nicholas, Elcie D. Etienne, Rosemona D. Salomon, Jacqueline D. Jean,  Rosena Desamours, Rosimene Estimable, Luc Desamours, Raymond Desamours, Bismarck Desamours, and Anier Desamours, and their families.

All are welcome to her funeral service on Friday, July 12th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Rosemarie will be deeply missed and cherished by her family and friends.
