Rose Marie Devilme-Myrthil, 74, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Grandvil Devilme and Angelina Dossous. Rose’s caring and gentle nature led her to a lengthy career in healthcare, working as a registered nurse at various facilities throughout the years.
Rose was the beloved wife of Paul Myrthil for 36 wonderful years; devoted mother of Stanley G. Devilme of Brockton, Moses Myrthil of Florida, and Marie Helen Myrthil of Hyde Park; loving grandmother of Shanley Devilme, Ethan Devilme, Tanoah Devilme, and Serenetii Rose Myrthil-Watford; dear sister of Marlene Bazile, Michaelle Bazile, Lesly Devilme, Michele Devilme Comeau, Yolette Devilme Lamour, Elisabeth Devilme, Margarette Devilme, Serge Devilme, Josephine Devilme, Yves Devilme, and the late Tony Devilme, Maxime Devilme, Mireille Devilme, Gesner Devilme, Jean-Claude Devilme, Jocelyne Devilme, Maryse Devilme, and Maxo Devilme; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
All are welcome to her viewing on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 9-10 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. funeral service at New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church, 871 N. Main St., Randolph, MA and burial at St. Mary Cemetery, 245 North St., Randolph, MA. Live streaming of Rose’s funeral will be available.
