Roberta A. (Amirault) Velardo, 70, of Brockton since 1994, passed away at home unexpectedly on August 10, 2026. Born in Brookline, daughter of the late Robert and Arlene (Muise) Amirault, she was raised in Reading on the North Shore.
“Bobbie” came to the South Shore in 1994 with her husband Richard P. Velardo to operate the restaurant at Ferrari’s Bar and Grill in Brockton and a convenience store at Swift’s Beach in Wareham. She later attended Southeastern Regional Vo-Tech and was an L.P.N. for V.N.A. on the Southcoast and at area nursing homes including Braemoor in Brockton.
Bobbie also enjoyed gardening and was artistic and skilled at arts and crafts. She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Rick, daughter Michelle Rowe of Gloucester, and son James Rowe of Gloucester; she was the devoted grandmother of Charlotte Marques of Gloucester; Bobbie was the last of her siblings.
Respectfully, funeral services are private.
