Robert A. Perkins, 80, of Scituate, passed away peacefully in his home on February 5, 2026. Born September 15, 1945 at Moore Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Gladys and Robert Perkins. Prior to moving to Scituate, Robert resided in Taunton. Robert enjoyed New England Sports teams, games and events. Robert consistently participated in the Buzz Off, annually shaving his head to raise funds to help kids with cancer find support, treatment and care. Robert loved hosting an annual holiday party at his home for many peers and support staff from his local area. Robert was a charming conversationalist and offered a listening ear to those around him. Services for Robert will take place on Tuesday February 10, 2026; all are welcome to calling hours from 9 to 11 a.m. and his funeral service at 11 a.m. at Waitt Funeral home, 850 North Main Street, Brockton followed by graveside committal at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Those grieving will be invited back to Robert’s home for refreshments.
