Robert A. Isom

Robert A. Isom (Bob), 79, of Ellenton, Florida, former resident of Brockton, MA for 50 years passed away April 23, 2023.  Born and raised in Billerica on July 9, 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy for 7 years from 1961 to 1968.  He was employed at Eastern Airlines until retirement. He enjoyed mechanics, fixing things, spending time with his family, fishing, traveling and going to the casino. It was close to impossible to pull up to his house without seeing him in the driveway working on a car. He was known for his selfless heart and helping anyone who needed it. Robert was married to the love of his life, Julia Isom for 56 years; loving father of Charlene Isom of Salisbury and the late Cheryl Pastena; dear grandfather of Krista Morselli of Berkley, Courtney and Patrick O’Brien of Bridgewater, and Christopher Pastena his fiancé Ania-Nabi Ruiz of Brockton; great-grandfather of Chase Anthony Morselli, Braelynn Julia O’Brien, Amelia Grace Morselli, Declan Patrick O’Brien, and Cavan Chris O’Brien; brother of the Christine Musker, the late Kelso (Sonny) Isom, Marie Hubbard, Carl Isom, John Isom, Ruth Sherwood, Laura Crawley and Marion Wood. Following cremation, all are welcome to memorial calling hours Monday, May 15th from 5 to 7 p.m. concluding with military honors in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
