Bobby “Bubba” Zuckerman, 56, of Brockton, passed away on February 2, 2021. Bobby was the son of Bernie and Rae Zuckerman, brother of Howard Zuckerman, brother-in-law of Amy Zuckerman, and daddy to his little dog Pimp. He started to battle serious health issues in his early 20s, and his family feels lucky to have had him in their lives as long as they did.
Professionally, Bobby was in sales for most of his life. Whether as a salesperson or a consumer, he loved and mastered the art of negotiating. His friendly, outgoing personality was a big part of why he excelled in his professional life.
Bobby was also a talented singer, winning the grand championship of Community Auditions at the age of 7. He was a huge fan of the band Rush, and his brother is glad he will now rest in peace with the late, great Neil Peart.
Personally, if you met Bobby just once, you never forgot him. He definitely made a lasting impression. Whether at a family gathering, party, or small get-together, he could be counted on to provide the comedy. His storytelling made you laugh until it hurt. Bobby made and kept in touch with many friends throughout his life, and he will be sorely missed.
As the live-in caregiver for his parents in recent years, Bobby exuded empathy and compassion. He consistently put his parents’ health and wellbeing before his own.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no funeral or service will be held. The family hopes to have a celebration of his life later this year. Bobby's family wishes that flowers not be sent, a donation to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Bobby’s name would be much appreciated.
