Robert W. Sawler

Robert W. Sawler passed away on July 18, 2026, one day following his 88th birthday, with his family at his side at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital due to complications with dementia and pneumonia. Raised in Braintree, MA, he served his country proudly. 

He is survived by his daughter Denise Rowean of Norfolk, MA; by his grandchildren Josie Rowean of New York City and Jack Rowean of Worcester, MA, and by Judy Monfils Sawler of Rockland, MA. 

All are welcome to his committal service with honors on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
