Robert L. Porazzo Jr.

Robert L. “Bob” Porazzo Jr.,64, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, passed away on May 11, 2025. A 1979 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, he served proudly in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and Reserves before holding various roles in the automotive industry over his career. Additionally, he began his firefighting career with the Middleboro Fire Department from 1999-2007 and later retired as Deputy Chief of the Lakeville Fire Department serving from 2007-2012. For the past 15 years, he was the Field Operations Director for the Automotive Division of Vermont Mutual Insurance.

Bob was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, trips to Disney World and camping.

Bob was the son of the late Lt. Robert L. Porazzo Sr., BFD, and Claire E. (Carter) Porazzo. He is survived by his wife Lacey J. (Pattee) Porazzo; son Robert L. Porazzo lll and his wife Laura Cereghino; Lacey’s sons Zachary Mosher and his wife Sara, and Samuel Mosher; his sister Sandra Porazzo; nephew Josh Oliveira and niece Alex Porazzo; and Lacey’s two grandsons. He was pre-deceased by his brother Richard J. Porazzo, BFD.
