Robert R. Connor

Robert R. Connor, 83, of Avon, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021. Raised and educated in Braintree, he worked for Boston Sand and Gravel for over 40 years until his retirement. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1963. Bob loved his traveling. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, boating, reading, and puzzles. He was a family man and good friend to all. Robert was the husband of the late Deborah R. (Taylor) Connor; beloved father of Sharon Connor of Florida, and Michelle DeFlaminis and her husband Robert Rose of Taunton; loving grandfather of Christopher Connor, and Bradley and Aaron DeFlaminis; brother of Albert Rank and his fiancé Judy Rego of Marshfield, Richard Rank of Pembroke, Paul Connor of Braintree, the late Ronald Connor and his wife Sheryl Connor of Rockland; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, March 28th from 1-4 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral service is Monday, March 29th at 11:30 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, P.O.
