Robean Love Obituary

Robean (Brunson) Love was born on Thursday, November 12, 1931 in Cameron, South Carolina, the oldest of four children, to the late Richard Brunson, Sr., and Millie (Tucker) Brunson. After a brief illness, she entered eternal life with Christ on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023. Having been raised in a Christian home, Robean sang in the choir and accepted Christ at St. Peter AME Church in Cameron, SC., at an early age. After growing to an adult, she left South Carolina for and made New York her home. Arriving there she lived with her god-parents Mary and George Levingston. It wasn’t long before she met and married the late John Love and unto this union, two daughters were born.

Because she was a mother figure and so many young people loved her dearly, she was adopted as a mother to so many others too numerous to name here. She loved them all. It was while living in New York, that she received the call to preach God’s Word and she continued to preach and teach wherever she traveled from one place in the United States to the other. Her mantra upon answering the telephone was always “Praise the Lord” and she never stopped Praising His name. Even as a young child, she was naturally blessed with the culinary skills of a master chef. Beanie was a marvelous cook, never a stomach would go empty if she was anywhere in the vicinity. God in His infinite wisdom, saw that His daughter Robean was getting tired, and called our beloved from labor to reward.

Robean was preceded in death by her two brothers, Richard Brunson, Sr., and John Edward Brunson, two sisters-in-law, Brenda J. Brunson and Gertie Mae Hart, one brother-in-law, Rev. Andrew L. Frederick, Sr., one son-in-law, Rev. Stewart Springfield, two cousins, (raised in the Brunson home as siblings following the death of their parents), Willa Dean Hart-Fountaine and David Lee Hart, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters; Brenda Love Pearsull, son in-law Jack Pearsull jr. of Bridgewater, MA, Rev. Sheila Inez Springfield of Roxbury, MA, adopted daughters Lorna Foreman, granddaughter Janay Foreman, great grandson Alex foreman all of Taunton Ma, adopted son William O’Brien of Everett Ma, God daughters :  Joanne Moorer of Ga.
