Richard B. Reposa, 56, of Stoughton, passed away on March 10, 2026 after a brave battle with cancer. A native of Brockton, he was a 1987 graduate of Brockton High School. Rich attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, graduated from Stonehill College, and later earned a master’s degree from Boston University.
He had a lifelong passion for technology and worked in cybersecurity at General Dynamics for many years. One to always keep busy, Rich enjoyed playing pool, golfing, fishing, and scuba diving. He also loved time spent with family and friends sharing his love for cooking.
Rich was the beloved husband of Tammy L. (Parks) Reposa for 20 years; loving father of Rachel Reposa of Stoughton; cherished son of Richard and Marilyn (Asiaf) Reposa of Brockton; brother of Joseph Reposa and his wife Susan of Reading; uncle of Joe, Michael, and Victoria Reposa.
Rich also leaves his wife’s family, he was the son-in-law of Alan Parks of Bridgewater and the late Linda (Ferguson) Parks; brother-in-law of Tricia and Russell Lorgeree of Rockland, and Adam and Amanda Parks of Bridgewater; uncle of Tim Lorgeree and his wife Brittany, Andrew Lorgeree and his wife Emily, Christopher Lorgeree, Madison Lorgeree, Emily Montour, and Megan Parks; and a great-uncle of Miles, Nathaniel, and Samantha.
He leaves many friends he considered to be family. Rich will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are welcome to calling hours Wednesday March 18th from 9 to 11 a.m. and his funeral service at 11 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to his family to assist his wife and daughter or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
