Renée (Santos) Dreist

Renée (Santos) Dreist, 62, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Renée was born in Stoughton and had a lengthy career in cosmetology. Her greatest joy was governing her Pride; her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchild, and of course, her frogs. Renée provided a mother’s loving touch to every person around her. In her free time, she loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, cooking, canning, and spending time with her family, and most of all, “Nahna School”.

She was the loving wife of Patrik Dreist for 46 years. In addition to her husband, Renée is survived by her mother Judith A. (Moran) Santos of Mansfield; her five daughters Jessica Dreist of Taunton, Heidi Robertson and her husband Edward of Stoughton, and Kerri Dreist, Kristi Dreist, and Patrice Dreist, all of Brockton; her sisters Yvonne Defazio and Pamela Goodman, both of Mansfield; and 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was predeceased by her father Thomas A. Santos.

All are welcome to calling hours on Tues., July 2nd from 12-3 p.m. with a 3 p.m. prayer service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal.
